ROAD TUBE

#RT-RS (synthetic) and #RT-RN (natural)
Road tube is available in EPDM synthetic rubber or natural rubber.
Specifications for synthetic rubber are:
69 Durometer, max. spec. gravity 1.20
Min. tensile 1900 psi
Min. elongation of 400%. After elongation not over 18% increase in length.
Completely ozone resistant.
Specifications for natural rubber are:
61 Durometer
Tensile 2500 psi
Spec. gravity 1.15
Ozone resistance is 100 per Astm D1171
Use natural or synthetic, whichever you prefer. We have found that the natural is more flexible, especially at cold Temperatures (below freezing). The synthetic holds up better under heavy traffic and is better able to withstand tube grip chafing and maintain an open air passage. Synthetic is preferred in hot climates.
FIGURE-EIGHT CABLE GRIP
#RTA-8
This economical road clamp is made of 1/16" diameter stainless steel cable. The road tube passes through the two loops of its figure eight shape. The harder the road tube pulls, the tighter the cable grips the tube. A small eyelet is provided for securing clamp to road with concrete nail or spike. Will not slip or cut road tube or tires.
ROAD TUBE GRIPS
(Chinese fingers)
Woven stainless steel cable with 1/2" swagged loop to fit PitonAnchor, PK or surveyor nail or roadside spike. Grip fits around road tube. Will not slip or cut road tube or tires. #RTA-CF-R (for round tubes) #RTA-CF-HR (for half-round tubes)

Quarter-inch diameter by 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" long, case hardened spiral shank plated nails with 9/16" diameter head. The 2 1/2" nail is the most commonly used length.
(Diamond Hard Brand)
#RTA-DH
Diamond Hard Brand Nails are concrete nails that are harder than the Parker-Kalon. They can be driven into the hardest asphalt without bending.
SPIKES
#RTA-S
Three-eighths inch diameter by one foot long spikes for anchoring in soft soils.
CLOTH BACK TAPE

#CBT-231
This is a high quality 28 thread-per-inch cloth back tape. The tape is useful for securing loop wire and road tube to the road surface. The more cars roll over it, the harder it sticks. Available in 2" and 3" x 60 yard rolls. Olive drab or black.
C CLAMP

#RTA-GC
These road tube clamps are made of galvanized sheet metal. The road tube fits in the mouth of the clamp. The clamp is secured to the road with PK or surveyor nails or spikes. All three holes are 5/16" I.D.
ROAD TUBE CENTER LINE ANCHORS

#RTA-CL
A 2 1/4" X 2 1/2" galvanized steel plate with three mounting holes and a 1" wide U clamp to secure road tube. The keyhole slot allows for quick anchoring over a road nail. Clamp for the round road tube is RTA-CL-R. Clamp for the half round road tube is RTA-CL-HR.
CHAIN

#CHAIN-6
These six-foot lengths of chain are handy for securing your counting equipment in the field. The 1 3/8" chain links are made of 3/16" mild steel, zinc-plated.

These 5/8" long x 5/16" 18-thread machine screws are excellent for plugging the open end of road tubes to keep dirt and debris out of tube. The plug accepts a 5/32 allen hex wrench on one end.
MOISTURE INDICATOR CARDS

#MIC-2
These cards are for placing inside instrument case. The 2" x 3" cards have three moisture indicator zones: 50% humidity, 40% humidity and 30% humidity. Zone indicator will change color when the humidity reaches that level. The card serves as a warning to operator when moisture conditions inside instrument are high or when to renew desiccant pack.
DESICCANT PACKS

#DP-1
The 2 1/2" x 6" Eagle Chemical silica gel packs will keep your electronic equipment dry and help avoid moisture damage to circuitry.
