Phoenix |
The Phoenix is a multi-lane time interval counter/classifier designed for permanent installs or large portable applications. The Phoenix is capable of 1 to 8 lanes count using axle sensors, 16 lanes count with loops, classification for 1-8 lanes of traffic with gap, headway and speed by axle type studies. It can be fitted with 4 road tube sensors, 2 to 8 remote inputs, 4 to 16 presence inductive loop sensors and 4 to 8 piezo or resistive sensor inputs. The versatility and robust stability of the phoenix lends itself the place of being the premier permanent site classifier. With a complete list of features, the Phoenix is fully programmable with the ability for incident detection, remote administration and monitoring for urban highway/interstate applications.
Low power consumption is another key feature allowing the Phoenix long life in the field. Remote sites are easily accomplished with the Phoenix as it can be powered permanently with just solar power.
The Phoenix can be programmed via a laptop, PC (direct or via modem / IP), by the counter keyboard/display.

Phoenix Rax |
The Phoenix Rax is rack mounted unit designed for permanent installation in a cabinet in the field. The circuitry and functionality is the same as the standard Phoenix. All circuit boards plug into the backplane of the rack mount case allowing quick exchange for troubleshooting, upgrading, or adding functions.
The Rax is designed with expandability in mind. Terminal strips on the backplane allow connection of necessary harnesses and cables. The Phoenix Rax comes standard with a four line x 20 character display. The Rax having its own built-in 120VAC 40 watt power supply can alternatively be powered by a solar panel.
The Phoenix Rax can be programmed via a laptop, PC, TAM, by the counter keyboard/display, or remotely with a modem.

The Apollo Counter/Classifier, tailored specifically for cities and counties, is Diamond’s newest high-accuracy classifier. Recently released following a year of development and testing, it is quickly becoming a favorite due to it’s easy operation, compact size, and accuracy.
After setting out road tubes, field operators can have the unit collecting and verifying accuracy of data in 15-20 seconds. Along with its lightning fast setup, the Apollo has a complete LCD display so operators can verify accuracy in the field.
The Apollo can collect Per-Vehicle or Volume data. When Per-Vehicle data is collected and downloaded to the Centurion-CC Software for Windows, a variety of reports can be generated in just a few keystrokes. Reports can be changed on the fly, easily and quickly; making the Apollo and Centurion a complete data collection solution.
