AC OUTLET AND LIGHT

Cabinet can be outfitted with 110 VAC single phase ground fault (GFCI) receptacles and 120VAC power terminal strip with optional fluorescent light. Custom wiring per your specification is available.

Terminals

Cabinets can be supplied with standard #6-32 by 20-terminal strips for termination of loops, piezos, solar panel, telephone, etc. Optional 8-32 or 10-32 terminal screw available.

Vents And Filters

We can stamp 4” long by 1” (1/4” opening) louvers on the cabinet door face. We suggest one louver foe every 2 cubic feet of cabinet volume. Louvers are covered on inside of door with standard furnace type filter. Filter slides into a three sided bracket for easy replacement. We offer a variety of filters, some designed to block out finer particulate. Call us for more details.

Ventilation Fans

Cabinets can be outfitted with axial or radial fans. Forced ventilation radial fans cost more but move greater volume against higher air pressures. Axial fans work fine in most applications. Fans require installation of louvers and a filter.

Heaters

110 or 220 VAC aluminized steel seathed strip heater with nickel-chrome element. Choice of 125, 200, 400 or 500 watt.

Cabinet Door Latches

We offer a stadard three point nylon roller latch. The top and bottom of the door are secured with extending rods with nylon rollers. Center secure point is a fixed rotating cam latch. Finish on interior lock mechanism is yellow zinc.

Our standard exterior handle is a stamped stainless steel handle securable with your padlock or ours. Optionally we can provide handle per your specification.

Small cabinets can be fitted with a keyed cam rotation lock if costis a concern.

Lightning Surge Protection

Diamond manufactures three versions of lightning surge protectors. Model 4LP and Model 4LPCP handle suppression for inductive loops only. Model STPL provides surge suppression for inductive loops, piezo sensors, solar panels and telephones. All units come with a 36” long (90cm) braided ground strap or insulated multistrand copper conductor for connection to cabinet ground. For surge suppressor to work effectively a grounding with resistance to ground no higher than 20 ohms is required.

Model 4LP

Has four inductive loop channels of lightning suppression with solid state automatic reset fuse and a terminal strip connector. Unit is designed to mount over the top of loop termination strip. it channels surges of above 8 volts to ground. Each leg of loop can briefly channel 75 amps to earth ground.

Model 4LPCP

Is the same as above but cased in a plastic case with Amphenol plugs matching the Phoenix/Unicorn/Pegasus loop input plug and receptacle. This allows for quick installation or removal of the unit from an inductive loop circuit.

Model STPL

Has suppression for eight inductive loops (clamps at 8 volts), eight piezo axle sensors (Clamps at 10 volts), one solar panel (clamps at 30 volts) and one telephone circuit (clamps at about 225 volts.). The unit measures 7 5/8” (19.5 cm) x 3 1/2” (9 cm) x 1 1/2” (3.5 cm) tall. Unit is also available mounted on an aluminum backer plate (Model STPL-ABP).
